New Webinar Series: first event on the 11th of March


The Brussels Diplomatic Academy is starting a new Webinar series from March – July 2021, to explore and debate issues across the rich diversity of the Academy’s geographic & thematic areas of expertise.

Join the first webinar in the series entitled Cultural Diplomacy in Turbulent Times, on the 11th of March at 2-3pm CET.

The speaker is Dr. Ino Mirkovic, Coordinator for Cultural Diplomacy at the Brussels Diplomatic Academy – VUB University. UNESCO Artist for Peace, President of Swiss Global Art and Chief Advisor to the Rector of the University of Debrecen and the event will be moderated by Ambassador, Dr. Len Ishmael, Global Affairs Advisor, Brussels Diplomatic Academy. German Marshall Fund Fellow and Distinguished Visiting Scholar, Policy Center for the New South Senior Fellow and Commissioner on the Lancet Commission for Covid-19.

This webinar series combines the BDA’s geographic pillars of the Trans-Atlantic relationship, the continent of Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean, the CIS countries, the Middle East, Europe & Asia, with thematic issues including Cultural, Financial & Public Diplomacy, Energy and the Environment, Technology, Science and Innovation and the role of International Organizations.
