Biography:
Xavier Teichmann is the founder of Oxymore Company, a Belgian-based consultancy specialising in B2B sales, management, negotiation and persuasion. With more than twenty years of commercial experience, including an early career at Renault, where he became one of the group’s youngest sales managers, he has spent his career studying how people are convinced, and how trust is built and sustained.
At the Brussels Diplomatic Academy, Xavier teaches « International Sales Techniques », equipping students with the methods, negotiation skills, and cultural awareness needed to sell and persuade across borders. He also leads a workshop on « The art and science of persuading, convincing and influencing people with integrity ». His teaching pairs academic rigour with the practical demands of high-stakes communication, drawing on philosophy, marketing, and cross-cultural intelligence (the CQ framework).
As a former Training Partner at HEC Liège Executive Education, Xavier designs and delivers programmes for companies and institutions across Belgium and internationally. His proprietary ARC methodology (Attraction, Reference, Continuity) reframes the salesperson not as a vendor but as a strategic partner consulted before the decision is made. Trained in philosophy, communication, and marketing, he is particularly interested in persuasion as both an art and a discipline.
