Short Bio:

Prof. Jakub Zajaczkowski is a professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw. He is an expert on the Great Power Politics in Indo-Pacific Region, India’s Foreign Policy, Area and Global Studies, research design in International Relations and Global South in IR. He have published numerous monographs, edited volumes, research articles and book chapters in reputed outlets. He is a principle investigator of a project titled ‘The responses of emerging Global South powers to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the consequences for international order’ which received a grant from National Science Agency of Poland.

In his career he served as a director of the institute of International Relations at the University of Warsaw from 2015-2018. He is also the chairperson of the scientific council for International Relations discipline. He is a visiting scholars is many renowned universities around the world including in Indiana University, Sichuan University and Australian National University.
