Short Bio:
Dorota Heidrich, PhD, Habil. – is a graduate of the Institute of International Relations and of the Institute of Regional and Global Studies at the University of Warsaw.
She holds a PhD in Political Science (2004) from the University of Warsaw. She was awarded habilitation in Political Science and Administration from the University of Warsaw in 2020. Currently she is employed as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw.
Formerly she held the positions of the Deputy Director of the Institute of International Relations at the University of Warsaw, as well as the Representative of the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies for the Development of the Study Programmes in English. She was a visiting Professor at Sichuan University of Chengdu, China and Ruhr Bochum University, Germany. In 2021 she was awarded a distinction by the Rector of the University of Warsaw for excellence in teaching. She is the author, co-author and editor of publications on normative diffusion, forced migration, transitional justice, criminal justice, and international organisations.
