Johan Verbeke, Director General of the Egmont Institute and former Ambassador of Belgium to the UK and the US, is giving a series of lectures on Diplomacy and International Relations for the Brussels Diplomatic Academy and the Institute of European Studies of the VUB. Over the six lectures, the first of which is on the 24th of October, Ambassador Verbeke will address the nature of diplomacy, the conflict cycle, diplomatic skills, and the state of the world.
